T&C's I AJ CHAMPS HONOURS LIST | TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By taking part in this prize draw you accept and agree (and shall procure that your nominee shall accept and agree) to these terms and conditions. If you (or your nominee) do not agree with any of these terms and conditions then you (and your nominee) should not take part in the prize draw. It is your responsibility to ensure that you (and your nominee) review the current terms and conditions before entering the prize draw. We, JD Sports Fashion plc (“JD Sports”), recommend that you (and your nominee) print and store or save a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference during the prize draw.
What can you win?
Entrants have a chance to win one Prize each for their nominee (for the avoidance of doubt, the entrants themselves will not win any Prizes). There will be 20 winning nominees of prizes falling within 4 tiers as set out below (the “Prizes”):
- Tier 1: There will be 1 winning nominee only. The Prize is a Meet & Greet with Anthony Joshua (at a time, date on or around 21 December 2020, and location in or around London to be determined by JD Sports and subject to Anthony Joshua’s schedule) and a JDX Grail Card.
The Tier 1 winning nominee shall also receive a JDX “Grail” Card which will entitle the winning nominee to receive up to 5 visits to a JD store and be given up to £1000 to spend per visit (maximum aggregate spend of £5,000). The dates and locations for the store for the visits will be determined by JD Sports. The winning nominee will also receive a pick-up service (via a method of transport to be determined by JD Sports) and be taken to the store for each visit. The JDX “Grail” Card also gives the winning nominee exclusive access to enter JDX launches and the ability to sign up to JDX events for 1 year. The JDX Grail Card will be valid for 12 months from and including the 30th December 2020 to 30th December 2021.
- Tier 2: There will be 3 winning nominees of Tier 2 Prizes. The Prize for each Tier 2 winning nominee is a Meet and Greet with Anthony Joshua (at a time, date on or around 21 December 2020, and location in or around London to be determined by JD Sports and subject to Anthony Joshua’s schedule).
Each Tier 2 winning nominee will also receive 1 ‘JD Christmas Gift Box’ (which shall include items determined by JD Sports) and 1 JD gift card (the value of which shall be determined by JD Sports).
- Tier 3: There will be 6 winning nominees for Tier 3 prizes. The Prize for each Tier 3 winning nominee will be an individual FaceTime Meet & Greet with Anthony Joshua, lasting no more than 10 minutes for each call. If the competition winning nominee doesn’t own an iPhone, they will be contacted via Zoom or Whatsapp video (at a time and date to be determined by JD Sports and subject to Anthony Joshua’s schedule).
Each Tier 3 winning nominee will also receive 1 ‘JD Christmas Gift Box’ (which shall include items determined by JD Sports) and 1 JD gift card (the value of which shall be determined by JD Sports).
- Tier 4: There will be 10 winning nominees of Tier 4 Prizes. The Prize for Tier 4 winning nominees is 1 ‘JD Christmas Gift Box’ (which shall include items determined by JD Sports) and 1 JD gift card (the value of which shall be determined by JD Sports).
All Prizes are subject to availability and may not be exchanged for a cash value, nor is any Prize transferable. All Prizes are subject to winning nominee confirmation (i.e. JD Sports has been able to contact winning nominees and has been able to confirm eligibility). JD Sports has the right to change, alter or withdraw the prize draw or Prize at any time due to any change in any applicable law or any events outside the control of JD Sports. JD Sports shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation or rescheduling of the Prize. If any part of the Prize is not available or claimed, JD Sports is under no obligation to supply an alternative prize.
The prizes are personal to the winning nominees and the sale or offering for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of any tickets and/or part of any of the prize packages is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace). JD Sports reserves the right to cancel the comp and withdraw or make void any and all prize elements if this term is not complied with.
If any Prize is an event: (i) the Food, accommodation, and travel expenses are not included in the Prize unless expressly stated in the Promotion Terms, (ii) you or your winning nominee ensure that you will act responsibly before, during, and after the event and you or your winning nominee agree that JD Sports is not liable if you are refused entry to the event, (iii) you or your winning nominee may be required to confirm your eligibility to travel before accepting the Prize, (iv) you or your winning nominee are responsible for all expenses associated with the Prize (such as travel documents, visas, insurances) and these expenses will not be reimbursed by JD Sports, (v) you or your winning nominee accept that entry into an event is subject to the event organiser’s own terms and conditions, regulations and/or eligibility requirements (including medical requirements), (vi) JD Sports is not liable if you or your winning nominee are unavailable on or around the date and/or time of the event as notified to you or your winning nominee by JD Sports, (vii) you or your winning nominee accept that the availability, dates and times of the event are determined by the event’s organisers, over which JD Sports has no control unless JD Sports is the event organizer, (viii) JD Sports will not be liable should you or your winning nominee be refused entry into the event for any reason that can be attributed to you or your winning nominee.
What is excluded from the Prize?
It is the winning nominees’ responsibility to organise and pay for anything excluded from the Prize including transport and accommodation unless stated as being provided as part of the prize package.

For the avoidance of doubt, by entering above, it will be the nominated individual who is entered into the competition and considered for the Prizes and not the nominating individual.
Participation is limited to only one entry per person. Each individual may only be nominated once. If more than one such entry is received, only the first entry will be accepted. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.

How are winning nominees selected?
Winning nominees will be selected by a panel of independent judges based on the most worthy and interesting answer by the entrant as to why the nominee has been a “2020 hero” on or around 15th December 2020. All winning nominees will be contacted through either Instagram, Twitter or via the phone. All entrants must meet the eligibility criteria. Entrants must complete one of the above three ways to enter to be considered. The decision of JD Sports is final and binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of the winning nominees (other than with the winning nominees themselves).
In the event that the winning nominee does not communicate his/her acceptance of the Prize within 24 hours, despite JD Sports’ reasonable efforts to contact them, JD Sports reserves the right to pick another winning nominee (in accordance with the procedure set out in this section) and the original winning nominee will be considered to have waived his/her right to the Prize.
In the event a winning nominee does not claim the Prize within 24 hours, JD Sports reserves the right to pick another winning nominee (in accordance with the procedure set out in this section) and the original winning nominee will waive his/her rights to the Prize.
